ATM: The Company

Founded in the early 1970's, ATM began producing IC processing equipment that not only performed with unsurpassed reliability, but also offered accuracy that far exceeded customary tolerances. And it is not mere coincidence that many of these machines are still serving their users today, long after other competitive IC processors have been replaced.

Today, holding a variety of patents, ATM is a world leader in the field, and is still dedicated to engineering and manufacturing the most efficient and technically superior IC processing machinery available for both through hole and surface mount devices ranging from DIPs to SOJs to SOICs.

Although over the years ATM has changed, our mission has not - we still offer equipment that does the job precisely, efficiently .... meeting and even exceeding the specifications of JEDEC, ANSI and military standards.

Our Product Range

In 1971, the company developed the first DIP lead straightener to meet the demands of the electronics industry. Today, ATM is still a leader in this field. Incorporating many design concepts that have been both patented and field proven, our product line now covers both scanning and straightening/conditioning of all major device types. In addition, our products have set standards for speed, accuracy, versatility and above all, reliability, unmatched in the industry.

One of ATM's major strengths is its employees - a large proportion of our stable work force has been employed by ATM for many years. To that end, they strive to maintain the highest level of product performance and customer satisfaction.

Worldwide Sales Network

With a worldwide customer base, our sales and support operations are categorized geographically into North America, Asia/Pacific, Europe, and Other Regions. In North America, ATM products are sold through factory trained, independent sales representatives covering various territories. In Asia/Pacific, our master distributor - Eberts Electronics (S) Pte. Ltd. - is strategically located in Singapore at the "hub" of an Agent network; each of these agents has fully trained sales and service personnel on staff. Additional on-site sales and service support is provided by Eberts as required. Our distributor in Singapore maintains a large spare parts inventory to provide the best possible customer support at all times. In Europe, we operate through both sales and service Distributors and Agents.

Unsurpassed Service and Support

Our superbly engineered equipment is designed to perform with the maximum uptime. If a problem does arise, first line service is provided by every ATM-authorized representative in both the US and overseas. In each case, these representatives have either received factory training or training by ATM personnel in the field for most of the products in our diverse range.

Our sales/customer service and engineering teams at ATM in Philadelphia provide any additional support that is required. This includes troubleshooting technical problems by phone (and in person in the field if required), identifying and processing requests for spare parts from our substantial inventory, and even engineering technical solutions to special customer requests to enhance or modify product performance.
